Like many of the rec-hockey players in our audience, I’ve been wearing a mask I’ve loved for years…about 14 in fact. I know the best move is probably to replace it – and I may well before too long – but this is an old friend I wasn’t ready to get rid of. But it was in bad shape. A mess on the outside and a toxic waste dump on the inside. My ‘old friend’ had been badly mistreated.
