I guess I should clarify that a little.. I used the 3 major brands that are used the most in the NHL/North American game. I know Brian's has more representation in Europe, and a lot of Finnish goaltenders swear by it.

I love the Brian's gear too, but I basically went with the 3 major brands that are used in current times. Brian's is another great "custom" graphic company as well, but they don't have a ton of representation like the brands I mentioned. In no way is that a knock on Brian's they make awesome gear. That's why I always include the part about doing some research in my articles, because there are 4 other C/A manufacturers I can think of I didn't mention as well. Its all out there, just need to do a little digging!

I would also put up the Brian's Arm & Body Protectors. The Focus and Zero G lines are the lightest pro level protectors around. This is accomplished by using all engineered HD foam inserts instead of the ABS plastic commonly used. Besides from the weight factor, they are also extremely protective and customizable, they come in any color, and embroidery/graphics are also available. I feel the shoulder wings are also maximized legal sizing to take up as much net as possible.

I hear you Dave, the one I started with I borrowed for Halloween, and my friends talked me in to going to a drop in skate. It was the Cooper model, but half of the plastic was gone, and it was falling apart. Not sure how, but I was hooked after that!

Where did you get those Cooper shots? Tose pieces would be an upgrade on what I wore back in the day! Black and blue all over, I was happier to get hit in the head than in the arms.
