I’m in Toronto for some family matters and tomorrow I’ll get the chance to meet with David Arrigo who is the multi-talented graphic artist behind several NHL masks. Oooh, pun gone wrong there.

David does far more than goalie masks – and his portfolio is well worth a look.

He’s working on a project of 10 four-foot tall masks to be left in various Quebec towns as part of the Canadien’s 100th anniversary celebration. David has kindly offered to send photos of the work as it progresses for us to keep posted as an ongoing feature, which should be very interesting.

In fact he’s sending me some shots this afternoon of the unpainted masks which I’ll get posted for readers – come back and have a look.

So – take a look at his work and send me a note or leave a comment if you have any questions that you’d like me to ask. And check back over the weekend to see the results of our meeting.
