We’re going to try introducing a “mask of the week” this week, beginning with this great shot from reader Les Stockton who writes:

“This photo was shot on February 3rd, 2009 in a game between the Colorado Eagles and the Tulsa Oilers.  Since I’m an Oiler fan, I can say that what appeals to me about this shot is the uniform colors and mostly the helmet.  Some goalies have some real artwork but this one is especially nice as it’s not only appealing, but it doesn’t clash with the team colors.

In this case, the team is the Eagles and the helmet is an Eagle.  Morgan Cey has been an outstanding goalie for the team.  See these stats on Morgan Cey.”
