Henrik Lundqvist’s 2010-2011 Rangers Mask

King Henrik’s mask was already one of the boldest graphic designs in the NHL and Daveart has created an even bolder design for this season.

Check out more of Dave Gunarsson’s great work.

About The Author

David is one of the founders of InGoal Magazine which he began in 2009. Of course he finds time for some goaltending of his own as well, and despite his age, clings desperately to the idea that some NHL team will call him to play for them - though in his mid-forties (OK, late 40s) it'll likely be for a practice when everyone else on their depth chart has the flu and the shooter tutor has gone in for repairs.

  1. Talk about treading on MB30… I know Daveart is an amazing artist, but I wonder how much of this was Mr. Henrik’s idea…. It’s too bad his #30 will never, ever, come out of the MB30 shadow!

  2. Yet another top class lid for Lundqvist. I dont think this guy has had a mask I haven’t liked! Good work from Mr Gunarrson, yet again!

  3. I have to admit this is my least favorite of Henrik’s masks. The 30 looked like 3D the first time I saw it. I don’t mind the Statue of Liberty side, and the back is nice.

  4. Boring, boring, boring. The Statue of Liberty is so played out. There’s so many other things you can do with a New York themed helmet…

  5. The Statue of Liberty might be played out but it is a Rangers alternate logo that has been used on their shirts on some occasions.
