Ilya Bryzgalov Olympic Mask
Update: Direct from artist Stephane Bergeron of La Griffe Originale – this is NOT a special Olympic mask. Bryz decided to go with his 2009-2010 Phoenix lid. You’ll see if you follow the twitpic link below that they match. Either way – for putting his kids’ artwork on it, this is my new favourite. The only specs that Bryz gave were the two images from his children. Putting them on the mask was a lot harder than you would think – using a brush to simulate the crayon and remaining true to the child’s art.
Dmitry Chesnokov (@dchesnokov) posted this image of my new favourite Olympic Mask from Russian goalie Ilya Bryzgalov to Twitter. I don’t care what the rest of the mask looks like – he put his daughter’s artwork on it – what an awesome dad. Sorry, it’s not ours to publish but go have a look: http://twitpic.com/13fdk3
