As the East Coast braces for the impact of Hurricane Sandy – and we at InGoal hope all our readers there stay safe during the storm – it is timely Lightning goalie Mathieu Garon debuts a new mask featuring Zeus whipping up a storm over Tampa Bay.
Garon’s new Reebok mask, which features waves tossing around a ship on one side and wind blowing palm trees on the other, was once again painted by Artist Sylvie Poitras. Poitras, who has always been Garon’s artist of choice, is also the artist behind Martin Brodeur’s iconic masks.
