Tuukka Rask’s New Mask
With a tip of the hat to the Goalie Guild for breaking the first shots of Tuukka Rasks hot new lid, we’re pleased to bring them to you at InGoal as well, courtesy of our good friends at Pro’s Choice who sent them along this afternoon.
Tuukka always has some of the flashiest designs in the game including his standard design, the Winter Classic mask from last season and now this fantastic new design. The one big difference this time is a new painter – from Philadelphia. Drummond Custom Design is same company who did Brian Boucher’s design for the Flyers and now they have created this tribute to Bruin’s greats and the iconic Zakim Bridge. Everyone will recognize the legendary Gerry Cheevers on the left side – but how many of you recognize the man making the old school kick save on the chin?

I would say that it is Gilles Gilbert, who was on the losing end of a couple of Bruins’ cup drives in the mid 70′s..
Tres Bien Paul!
… I prefer the other one…
its a shame that other helmet is mostly stickers thats cleared over.. thats def not real art work by any means!
The first Tuukka Rask mask in not done with stickers. It is all paint and gold leaf.
Stickers cleared over? How ignorant.
It’s airbrush work. Drummond does all kinds of top-notch art.
Educate yourself before you knock something, before you wind up with foot-in-mouth syndrome again….
(unless of course you’re talking about the old one, in which case I missed that the first time and will gladly shut up for the moment)
