Game Reports

  • Sound Tigers’ Mikko Koskinen wins his first game in a decisive shootout victory. He was a “positive nervous” before the game. I like that thought process. (Connecticut Post)
  • Braden Holtby of the Hershey Bears is off to a ripping good start. He’s allowed one goal in two games and got a shutout last night against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, making 38 saves in the process. The Bears have 3 goalies at the moment (Michal Neuvirth is injured, plus Jason Bacashihua), but this performance is going to make it very hard to send Holtby to the ECHL when Neuvy is healthy.
