Game Reports

  • Wilkes-Barre/Scranton was shut out 3-0 by Hershey Bears goaltender Michal Neuvirth Tuesday night’s Game 7. He’s the first goalie in history to post shutouts in games 6 and 7 of the AHL playoffs. (The Patriot-News and York Daily Record)

The synchronicity between the parent and farm team in the Capitals organization is uncanny. Rookie goalie revelations in both playoffs. Both teams playing the Penguins franchise in Round 2, requiring a game 7. Will the parent club Capitals have the same winning fate tonight as their farm team in Hershey?
