AHL Goalie News — Wednesday, Nov. 18

Features

  • Brent Krahn is the #1 goalie in the AHL at the moment and here’s a bit of audio from him, thanks to the Texas Stars:  Krahn on the Stars upcoming road trip
  • Meet Chad Johnson, who’s been a delightful surprise for the Rangers organization so far this season. (SNY Rangers Blog)
  • The Cory Schneider report from Manitoba. Pretty cool, though, that the Moose held a skills competition for their fans. People eat that stuff up, so I’m not sure why more clubs don’t do this. (Winnipeg Sun)

Transactions

  • Michal Neuvirth has been recalled by the Caps in light of Jose Theodore‘s leave of absence. Apparently, he may even get some game time. Braden Holtby has been called up to back up in Hershey.
  • Justin Peters was recalled by Carolina to fill in for Michael Leighton, who was injured last night. Mike Morrison of ECHL Florida was called up to fill in for Peters in Albany.
