Peter Mannino was already rocking a wicked set of vintage brown Brian’s Sub-Zero pads to start the season with the Manchester Monarchs. (Seriously, just check out the faded look on the face of those pads in the photos below).
So when it came time for new equipment – the vintage set was left over from his time with the Winnipeg Jets – it was hard to imagine how he was going to improve his look.
With some help from Brian’s Custom Sports, it appears he’d done just that with a new take on an old style:
That gear he is wearing has to be the ugliest set up on a pro goalie. Awful.
i think thats the point. I love em!! old pads were terrible looking.
