So much for wondering what the Islanders were going to do with 6 goalies between the NHL and AHL ranks. They’re down to five now that giant Finnish goalie Mikko Koskinen has torn a hip labrum and will be out 8-10 weeks.

Details about the injury are still coming out, but Michael Fornabaio is on the case for the Connecticut Post.

Left to man the pipes for the Sound Tigers are Nathan Lawson and Scott Munroe.
