Controversy brewing in Toronto:
The totals for the Leafs two goaltenders in the back-to-back games against the Red Wings?
Vesa Toskala: Sixty minutes played, five goals against.
The Monster: Sixty minutes played, zero goals against.
And then tonight he let in 7 in 24 shots against the Sabres. Coach Ron Wilson announces Toskala will still be #1 on opening night. OK, but you have to think it’ll be a very short run before Wilson announces a “win and you’re in” policy in Toronto.
Clearly Toskala’s poor season last year and the hot start of the prized rookie as left Leafs national and the blogosphere (not to mention the Twitterverse) with lots to say:
