Kira Hurley, a goaltender from Toronto, Canada, has made it into the Hockey Hall of Fame by becoming the first woman to ever score a point in a professional men’s hockey game. Kira, who signed earlier this year with the Evansville Icemen in Indiana, got an assist on a third period goal against the Chicago Blaze in an astounding 24-4 victory. Kira is only the fourth female to play men’s professional hockey at the minor level and the first female goaltender to ever play in the All American Hockey Association (AAHA).
