Jiggy for Toskala?
I wonder who wins on that trade?
Given their current situations, I think both could use the change of scenery. Anaheim wins that deal based on 1) they shed Jiggy’s contract and 2) still have a ‘proven’ goalie in Hiller. Gustavsson still has to get a few games (and/or playoffs) under his belt to prove his worth.
I like the article above talking about crease-crashing (Osgood wanting more consistent refereeing above). I predict some rule changes regarding head shots and/or pile-driving goalies next season. Who will be the first star goalie who jacks his knee and is out for the season because a player falls on him?
