Gold in the Net Announces Vaughn Endorsement Deals

Win a Gold in the Net / Vaughn Endorsement Contract

This summer Gold in the Net goalie schools teamed up with Vaughn Custom Sports to give five goaltenders from their summer camps an incredible opportunity – the chance to earn a full endorsement contract, just like an NHL goaltender.

The selected goalies will be outfitted with a full set of Vaughn gear – not just the pads and gloves – earn free private lessons at the Gold in the Net practice facility closest to them, and much, much more.

On Sunday night Gold in the Net announced the first four winners – one from each of their regional schools.

The lucky goaltenders are:

– From Gold in the Net – BC: Kyle Houghton of Prince George.

– From Gold in the Net – Alberta: Cameron Smethurst of Sherwood Park.

– From Gold in the Net Manitoba/Saskatchewan: Aaron Mason of Killarney, Manitoba

– From Gold in the Net – Ontario: Alex Nichol-Carne of Gananoque

Congratulations to all the winners, and for those goalies who didn’t win there is still one more chance.

On Friday, September 6th at 4 p.m. PDT at the Gold in the Net head offices in Parksville, they will draw one more lucky winner from all of the remaining entries  across the country! The final countdown is on for one of the summer’s best goaltending contests … Will it be you?

Lots of love for Jac

Lots of love for Jacob Markstrom’s beautiful new Bauer Vapor 1X custom graphics, but did you know he wasn’t really the first to wear it? When we talked to him around Christmas about the custom design we knew was coming, he said it was already on the pads worn by fellow Swede Filip Gustavsson at the World Junior Hockey championships. Look closely at the background graphic of Gustavsson’s pads (scroll through) and other than eliminating the solid block on the top corners, looks like he was right. Still gorgeous though. #InGoalisInTheRoom
