updated: This was published after the 2009 loss…little did Lou expect the expect, he would be doing the same interview exactly a year later.

6 Responses to Luongo Interview After Game 6 Loss to Chicago – 2009 Edition

  1. JR says:

    He deserved a better fate.
Team game Bobby, can’t take all the blame.

  2. Jeff Stark says:

Bobby you were fine ,, the defence in front of you need a good talking too ,, and trade beiska he is just trouble . next year is what counts man.

  3. Jamie says:

Are you guy’s joking?! I wouldn’t trade lou for any other goalie, but he cost us that game!

  4. Justin says:

Luongo played too many minutes in the regular season, faced too many shots and too many prime scoring opportunities down the stretch. You heard him say it – he made some saves early but didn’t perform later in the game. You could tell by his body language he was exhausted. Mentally and physically. Being the captain will do that to you.

  5. dave says:

Luongo gave his team a chance to win. He wasn’t brilliant but he did his job well enough early for them to rally off his performance in the 1st period. If the team had have showed up the Canucks could have won it. I was really surprised at how they just went away. If I was Lou, I’d want to be traded right now.

  6. Kyle says:

“Luongo gave his team a chance to win.”

3 goals in about 8 minutes is a chance to win? You’re a dummy. Tim Thomas would never put his team in that much of a hole in the playoffs.

    GOOOOOO BRUINS!
