Boston College continues it dominance of the Beanpot with it’s fourth consecutive tournament win, 6-3 over the Northeastern Huskies.

The victory marks the first time that a senior class has won all four Beanpots. Additionally, the victory for the Eagles also marks the the 18th tournament win for the school and seventh under coach Jerry York.

After last years Beanpot, BC reeled off 19 wins enroute to the National Championship.

Senior netminder Parker Milner (16-6-2) led the Eagles with 20 saves. He also won the Eberly Award for having the best save percentage in the tournament (.907).  Milner is now eighth all-time in career save percentage in the Beanpot (.930)

Chris Rawlings (24 saves) was unable to break the 25 year drought that the Huskies have been in since their last tournamnet win, 1988.

The Huskies fall to 4-11 in Beanpot championship games and 35-87 overall in the tournament.

Northeastern freshman forward Kevin Roy was named tounament MVP for his five goals in two games.
