Along with the NHL and AHL, the college hockey season opened this weekend. I spent most of the day Saturday shooting both the men’s and women’s teams at the University of New Hampshire. Men’s shots to follow in a later post.
First up was the #5 ranked Lady Wildcats vs the Uconn Huskies. UNH was led by sophomore goalie Lindsey Minton. With a 12 save effort, Linsey recorded her first win of the season.

Uconn Goalie Alexandra Garcia tied here career-high save mark with 27 saves but came up short losing 3-1.
