WarriorGoogleHangout-JPEG-300x201InGoal Magazine took part in our first Google Hangout put on by Total Goalie on Thursday, an informative session that included the Warrior design team led by Pete Smith, Warrior Pro Rep Eric Marvin, and professional goaltender Rob Madore of the Florida Everblades in the ECHL (video below).

It was a unique opportunity to review Warrior’s innovative new equipment line, highlighted by a Ritual Pro Chest and Arm that has totally re-invented arm protection with hinged, plastic-capped arms and a an elbow that includes a pulley system. InGoal already published a complete review of the unique new Chest and Arm, dispelling any and all concerns about hard rebounds and mobility, in the January edition of InGoal Magazine, but this is a chance to hear in person from the people behind it, and a pro who has been wearing it for three months already.

It’s also a chance to take a sneak peak at the next Warrior item that will be reviewed by InGoal – the Ritual Pro pant.

While the Chest and Arm may be getting most of the hype, there has been just as big – if not more – of a buzz among InGoal testers over the new Ritual Pro pants, which also feature a handful of never-seen-before innovations designed to maximize mobility without sacrificing protection or coverage. We’ll have an in-depth review in the March edition, but for now we’ll leave you with one simple thought – they pulled off that combination with a pant that should fit any style of goaltender. And while you wait for a complete review and photos, you can get a sneak peak at how they did it in the Google Hangout video below.

There is also a look at the new Warrior jock and kneepads. Thanks to Mike Bruins and Total Goalie for setting it up, and for inviting InGoal to take part. Enjoy:
