It seems a berth in the All Star Game has become as much a nuisance as an honour for some NHL players.
Clearly that’s not the case for Brian Elliott, who plans to savour an invite few would have predicted when the season started.
I enjoy inspirational and reflective quotations. They don’t solely have to come from athletes but from any accomplished individual and any historical era. Collectively, my favorite quotations come not from hockey but from arguably the greatest motivating coach in sport history – Vince Lombardi. It is with this in mind that I collect goalie quotations. I am certain some of these are familiar to you. For those of you who are not familiar with them, I hope you enjoy them and have a laugh.
