Providence Bruins Goalie Kevin Regan

Every now and then I get the opportunity to chat with a goalie while shooting at the Tsongas Arena, home of the Lowell Devils. The benches are a little small so once in a while the backup goalie will sit over in the tunnel where I shoot from.

This particular night P-Bruins goalie Kevin Regan was sitting with all of us in the corner.

Not only did Kevin answer a few questions from me about his mask but he also made time for the kids at the game before each period. He was signing everything from game tickets to an arm cast. (See photo below)

Kevin’s mask comes from from artist Doug Wager at Weasel Head Custom Designs. The artwork is a historic Boston/Boston Bruins theme. Doug also painted Kevin’s college mask when he was between the pipes for the UNH Wildcats.

Providence Bruins Goalie Dany Sabourin

Sabourin has updated his mask since the last time I shot a P-Bruins game. Artist Ray Bishop of Bishop Custom Designs has created a beautiful Bruins themed mask for Dany with the P-Bruins logo on one side and the Boston Bruins logo on the other.

After 49 games this season, Sabourin is 25-23-0 with a GAA of  2.67 and 3 shutouts.
