With hockey season pretty much winding down  I thought I’d start posting some of my favorite goalie pictures I shot this past season.

We have been a long time supporter of Army Hockey because my wife is a graduate of the Academy. I try to get out there at least once a year to shoot a game. This year’s game was a special one because it was senior night and goalie Josh Kassel’s last game at West Point. After graduating, Josh is on his way to Ft Rucker Alabama to learn to fly helicopters.

Josh stopped 19 of 22 shots as Army skated to a 3-3 tie with the AIC Yellow Jackets. Here’s Josh making one of his 19 saves.

I was also able to capture a penalty shot sequence with Army forward Mike Hull scoring on AIC goalie Tom Fenton.

Just click on the pictures to view all the photos from the game.
