Shots on Goal: Goalie Photos-LA Kings Jonathan Quick vs Boston Bruins Tim Thomas
In one week Tim Thomas and Jonathan Quick will be playing for the same team. Saturday night, January 30th, they were at opposite ends of the ice as the LA Kings handed the Bruins their seventh straight loss 3-2 in a six round shootout.
Tim Thomas (13-14-7) stopped 31 of 33 shots on the night. With the loss, Thomas’ shutout record drops to 20-21.
Kings goals were scored by Dustin Brown in the first and Anze Kopitar in the third period. Kopitar also scored the game winning goal in the shootout when he faked left but dangled the puck on the right around Thomas. (See photo below.)

Jonathan Quick picked up his 30th win of the season and improved his shootout record to 12-4 with the win over Boston. Quick stopped 27 of 29 shots on goal.
Bruins goals were scored by Marco Sturm in the second period and Mark Recchi in the third. Both were power play goals.
