Hartford Wolf Pack vs Manchester Monarchs

The Monarchs hosted the Hartford Wolf Pack  in a midweek contest this past Wednesday. The Monarchs pulled out a 2-1 victory behind the goaltending of Jonathan Bernier.

In goal for the Wolf Pack was Chad Johnson, who had a 1-0 lead after the first two periods evaporate within a 2:27 span of the third period.

With the win, the Monarchs continue to lead the Atlantic Division with 22 points. The loss for the Wolf Pack snapped a four game winning streak and dropped their record to 8-7-0-0. They’re currently in fifth place with 16 points.

Monarch’s Goalie Jonathan Bernier 

Bernier picked up his seventh win of the season bringing his record to 7-3-1, and stopped 26 of 27 shots on goal.

Johnson saved 22 of 24 shots on the night. With the loss, his record now stands at 6-4-0.
