Festival Welcome and Introduction

The Hockey Guild’s second-annual Quest for the Crown charity hockey festival is once again a benefit for the National Hockey League’s “Hockey Fights Cancer” foundation at Big Bear Ice Arena from May 1-3. This unprecedented local hockey event is a chance to show your hockey spirit by bringing all of your friends and family out to Big Bear to support the NHL’s fight against cancer. It’s all hockey, all weekend long, all for a great cause – and admission is totally free for everyone!

Quest for the Crown includes a number of different events dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the fight in a fashion that everyone in the family can enjoy. There’s an adult ice hockey tournament, an outdoor street hockey block party, a celebrity charity game called Skate with the Stars, the Top of the Mountain table hockey tournament, Colorado Sled Hockey Test-Drive, a massive silent auction, great food, vendors, giveaways, prizes and much more!

The Hockey Guild has a message that is the same for every single hockey fan, parent, player, coach, referee and director out there – please help spread the word and embrace the ideals of strengthening the community. Together we can make a difference in the world of hockey by letting the NHL know that we care about the game and about their Hockey Fights Cancer foundation!
