Don Cherry hates Alex Ovechkin’s celebrations…I wonder what he would think of this:
This kind of celebration is only allowed once a year…after the last save of the championship game. But, boy, would we all love to do it. Once, on a shoot out, the whistle blew and the shooter was curling and swirling around his own end and decided to go behind his net to build up a head of steam. I left the crease and beat him to the puck at the center ice dot. But the refs didn’t like it. TJ
