There are ten great bits of goaltending in here to enjoy – ten moments where these guys just shine. I have to say I like Garon’s for pure skill. It was not a “look what I found” bit of embelishment, or a recovery from a rebound or other difficult situation. It was just a challenge the shooter – strength on strength – save. Beautiful.

Honors to Marc-Andre Fleury as well. Not sure if that was look what I found or not but he gets a Tony Award for his work on stage after he grabbed that puck. As the coaches say, “you can’t teach that.” Nope, you can’t. But there are hundreds of kids out there right now practicing it on the rinks and in their driveways! That’s road hockey creativity there.
