Mark Visentin is a former Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He was selected in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes. Visentin represented Canada at the 2010 & 2011 IIHF World Junior Championships, where he won a silver medal and bronze medal, solidifying his place as one of the top young goalies in the country. Mark played his first NHL game at 21 years old while also playing on the AHL affiliate teams for the Arizona Coyotes, Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators. In 2017, after suffering two major ankle injuries & surgeries, Mark retired from professional hockey. Mark now works as a goaltending coach helping to develop the next generation of talented netminders. With his wealth of experience and expertise, he is well-respected in the hockey world and known for his dedication to bringing passion towards the goaltending position.
Mark is currently offering 1 on 1 private lessons and camps in Burlington and Cambridge, Ontario. All other services including attending team practices and consulting to improve goalie development for organizations are offered online or in the Brampton, Burlington, Milton, Hamilton, Guelph, Cambridge and the Kitchener-Waterloo Region.
