InGoal Radio Podcast Episode 37: Adam Francilia

In this Episode of the InGoal Radio Podcast presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, we kick off the start of the NHL season by sitting down with trainer Adam Francilia, whose client list includes eight goalies starting the year in the NHL and another handful on NHL contracts, to talk about the evolution of his approach and get some tips that will apply to any goaltender.

Back at the Hockey Shop with Cam for the gear segment, we look at the knee pads that got Cam a surprise phone call ordering 12 pairs for none other than Carey Price. If you want to try them for yourself you can order them today with the discount code InGoal20.

Plus Hutch, Woody and host Daren Millard offer up their Vezina Trophy predictions, and pick a few surprises for the upcoming season.

David is one of the founders of InGoal Magazine which he began in 2009. Of course he finds time for some goaltending of his own as well, and despite his age, clings desperately to the idea that some NHL team will call him to play for them - though in his mid-forties (OK, late 40s) it'll likely be for a practice when everyone else on their depth chart has the flu and the shooter tutor has gone in for repairs.

Really liked this episode, but any chance we can get examples or visuals of the neutral pelvis/ideal stance? I’m more of a visual learner and seeing pictures of it would be great. Specifically, when Adam is discussing the back and neck curvature. Conceptually the C shape neck and back versus straight lean/butt out comparison makes sense, but a visual would be even more helpful.

    Thanks!
