NHL Saves of the Week: February 15 – 21

As we inch closer and closer to the trade deadline, some goalies are battling for their playoff lives, and others are trying to look good so they can find a new home. Both Detroit Red Wings goaltenders appear on this week’s list. While Petr Mrazek has the starter’s job firmly in his grasp, Jimmy Howard could be one of the names on the move around the deadline. Both Vancouver Canucks goaltenders also have saves on the list.

Brian Elliott is another goaltender that would enjoy more playing time, but will be staying in St. Louis as long as Jake Allen remains out of the lineup. His overtime glove save ranks high, but it’s still not good enough to beat Scott Darling’s diving glove save.
