NHL Saves of the Week: March 7 – 13

Chad Johnson is back at it again! He made another glove save while diving back in his crease this week, which is becoming a bit of a signature move for the Buffalo Sabres goaltender. Jake Allen of the St. Louis Blues, and Andrei Vasilevskiy both appear on the list twice with fantastic saves. Both of Vasilevskiy’s saves came from the same game against Philadelphia, and one came on a 2-on-0!

Check out those saves and more in the NHL saves of the week for March 7th to 13th:

Jaroslav Halak – New York Islanders

Halak had one big save left in him before an unfortunate injury took him out of the lineup.

Martin Jones – San Jose Sharks

Nice strong push to his glove side, and just manages to get a piece.

Andrei Vasilevskiy – Tampa Bay Lightning

The puck hit the post, and Vasilevskiy picks it up just in time to make an insane pad save.

Jake Allen – St. Louis Blues

Bo Horvat couldn’t believe his eyes!

Jake Allen – St. Louis Blues

Andrei Vasilevskiy – Tampa Bay Lightning

2-on-0s are a nightmare scenario for most goaltenders. Vasilevskiy stops one!
