Stanley Cup Playoff Saves of the Week: May 25 -31

Before bidding adieu to Frederik Andersen of the Anaheim Ducks and Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers, take a look back at the final week of their seasons. Neither of their teams went down without a fight, with game sevens required in both instances. Ben Bishop and Corey Crawford came out on the winning side, and managed to make a few showstoppers as well! Check out the saves of the week for May 25th to 31st:

#10
Ben Bishop – Tampa Bay Lightning

Bishop2

Bishop gets his long leg over for the stop, then clears his own rebound!

#9
Henrik Lundqvist – New York Rangers

Lundqvist4

Lundqvist is able to track the pass through a bunch of legs, and still comes across for the pad save.

#8
Frederik Andersen – Anaheim Ducks

Andersen2

Amazing second effort from Andersen to get his toe on Saad’s rebound shot!

#7
Henrik Lundqvist – New York Rangers

Lundqvist2

Lundqvist scampers across the crease to make a rebound save. Not pretty, but it worked!

#6
Corey Crawford – Chicago Blackhawks

Crawford2

Crawford just catches enough of this shot with his glove to keep it out.

#5
Henrik Lundqvist – New York Rangers

Lundqvist3

The shot is deflected, but Lundqvist still gets a glove on it, and it ends up on top of the net!

#4
Corey Crawford – Chicago Blackhawks

Crawford2 (2)

With the Ducks attempting to mount a comeback late in game seven, it was this save that finally shut the door.

#3
Henrik Lundqvist – New York Rangers

Lundqvist1 (2)

Great awareness shown by Lundqvist to realize the threat is there in the slot, and makes a fantastic pad save as a result.

#2
Frederik Andersen – Anaheim Ducks

Andersen4

Full stretch from Andersen, and he just gets the toe of his pad on it!

#1
Ben Bishop – Tampa Bay Lightning

Bishop1

The Rangers did end up scoring later on this shift, but this save was flat out unbelievable. Amazing stuff from Bishop!
