Check This Out: Awesome Voltron-Inspired Brian’s Gear

Voltron PadsBrian’s has never been shy about flexing their design muscles when it comes to customising their range of goaltending equipment – and their latest effort is no exception, with the Ontario manufacturer helping bring cult Japanese cartoon Voltron to the ice.

Brian’s shared an image of this awesome set up on their Instagram account on Wednesday, comprising of four of the iconic robots’ five lions.

Voltron: Defender of the Universe originally aired between September 1984 and November 1985, with 124 episodes spread over three seasons, but the show’s popularity has endured to this day via re-runs and frequent pop culture references.

The set was selected as the ‘Pad of The Week’ on the Brian’s website, with the ‘Kings of Custom Design’ also producing a special Stanley Cup Playoffs set for analyst Kevin Weekes to use during on ice demonstrations.
