Brian’s SubZero Pro 3: Even More Hex-Air In New Line
InGoal’s test set of the new SubZero Pro3 is en route in time for a full review before the line launches, but in the meantime we have some teasers on some of the new features. The SubZero line has already been one of the most innovative in goaltending since the original launched with the game-changing, lightweight Smart Straps, so we can’t wait to see what’s coming in the new version, which is already turning heads in the NHL.
Let’s start with the increased use of their Hex-Air foam.
Introduced in the leg channel of the SubZero Pro 2 pads, these hexagon-shaped foams were wrapped in their special SBA “No Slip Grip,” which allows for increased air flow while providing optimum comfort, fit, and feel. The suede-like material allow for a more luxurious feel that stays smooth after use with faster drying abilities.
The Hex-Air material moulds to the goalie during game-play, so Brian’s has added it to the gloves in the SubZero Pro3 line, bringing new meaning to “fits like a glove.”
As you can see in the photos of the leg channel below, Brian’s has continued to use its rich-looking, durable Primo material in the pads as well, and the company is promising the SubZero Pro 3 will continue to exceed expectations of lightweight, customization and performance. We can’t wait to see it in person – and give a set away!
Stay tuned for more details here at InGoal each week. In the meantime, enjoy these full-sized teaser images of the leg channel, as well as the glove and blocker cuffs:
