CCM Unveils Marc-Andre Fleury’s New Vegas Mask

Ever since Marc-Andre Fleury was officially announced as the starting goaltender for the expansion Vegas Golden Knights, fans have been clamouring for the first peek at his new CCM gear.

Today, courtesy the CCM_Official Snapchat, we now know what the face of the franchise will look like behind his new mask:

Fleury’s new mask, painted by Stephane Bergeron of Griff Airbrush, lives up to the hype. The left side of the mask incorporates the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, and part of the skyline of the Vegas strip, where T-Mobile Arena is located. The right side features a knight in shining armour, riding a black stallion, holding a shield with the Golden Knights’ shoulder patch on it.

The gold-coloured cage was a no-brainer.

CCM also posted a photo to their CCM Goalie Twitter page of the three-time Stanley Cup champion wearing his jersey and full gear for the first time.

In other Vegas goaltending news, Calvin Pickard has taken to social media to enlist the help of fans to design his new mask. Send in your designs via the Vegas Golden Knights official website, and don’t miss your chance to be a part of their historic inaugural season!

That looks really sharp! I knew these jerseys would look better with more context!
