We’re midway through Movember, a month when hockey playing men grow moustaches in the name of raising awareness and money for men’s health issues.

It’s a month that has included some great charity masks in years past, including InGoal’s “Grow Your Mo” collaboration with Tim Thomas, which helped raise more than $20,000 two seasons ago. This year we’ve already seen Roberto Luongo doing his best Johnny Canuck imitation, moustache and toque included, with a mask that will be auctioned off for Movember charities, and countless other players are growing ‘staches for the good cause.

Not everyone can “grow a mo,” however, and even those that do sometimes forget the charitable part of the endeavour.

For those goalies, we have a great offer: Buy a new moustache-laden goal stick from Sher-Wood in the month of November and 15% of the purchase will be donated to Movember charities.

What’s underneath all those moustaches, you ask? It’s a Sher-Wood True Touch T70, a good value composite goal stick even if 15% of the $99 purchase price wasn’t also going to a good cause. The well-balanced T70 weighs in at just 820 grams and is made up of a blend of compression-molded carbon fibre and fibreglass, all wrapped around a vibration-reducing, high-density foam core.

In other words, it’s a goal stick you can feel good about for two reasons: it’s a good stick and it’s for a good cause.

For more great images of the stick, which has Movember themes throughout, check out our partners at The Hockey Shop, whose company has the exclusive on the Sher-Wood Movember sticks. Then order one quickly, because much like that moustache your better half already hates, it’s only around for Movember.
