I really enjoyed listening to Frantz because he was my 15 yr old’s very first goalie coach back in 2016.
My son was 10 and had never played hockey and had only skated a few times in his life, so I was very concerned (being 65 myself and having played in nets many, many years ago).
Long story short, I scrambled to find a goalie coaching camp and was lucky to discover Frantz had a 4 day camp here in the Montreal area. He had just one spot left. My son and Frantz hit it off from the start, Frantz was extremely impressed with my son’s natural ability and took him under his wing so to speak.
On a couple of occasions Frantz invited us to TB morning skate at the Bell Centre and my son has pictures with Bishop and Vasilevskiy from our first visit and even has a stick from Louis Dominigue, it’s hanging on the wall in what is now my office (covid related)
So a hearty thanks for bringing this.
Great story Kenn, thanks so much for sharing!
