Another new mask for Bryzgalov?

Another new mask for Bryzgalov?

UPDATED: We have the photos now of the completed mask – check them out and see what you think!

It wasn’t long ago that we shared the mask created for Ilya Bryzgalov by his long-time artist Stephane Bergeron. The comments section got a bit lively to say the least – and today we have a sneak peak at another Flyer’s mask that Bryz will be getting shortly from Drummond Custom Airbrush who have painted for Flyers keepers Brian Boucher and Sergei Bobrovsky. Drummond gave us permission today to publish this sneak peak…

We’re not sure how this will all play out (don’t we all wish artists were jockeying to get their work on our lids?) but it makes for some interesting times for Flyers’ fans and fans of mask art in general.

What are your thoughts? hit the comments below to share (but be nice folks!)

Look for more in Bryz’ new(est) mask here  as soon as the guys at Drummond have shared it with him.

So far I like it. I think someone mentioned in the comments section of Bry’s Tiger Mask, that there was another Mask being made for him….I guess that person was right. Maybe he’ll go with them both? Or a home and away type mask like Turco….I guess we’ll see.

It’ll be interesting to see what this one looks like. From what can be seen in that one picture, I think I’ll like this one better than the tiger deal.

Ed Cubberly made a mask for Sean Burke back in the day when he was with Philly and it had the Declaration on the top of it. One of the best Philly masks I’ve ever seen. How I wish the masks still looked like they did in the 90’s instead of all the over-detailed, busy, cluster**** designs that are so prominent now-a-days.
