Brian Boucher 2011-2012 Carolina Mask

Drummond Custom Airbrush recently brought InGoal readers one of the two helmets the Flyers’ new #1 Ilya Bryzgalov has received for this season. As a result of their work with the Flyers, Drummond has built a relationship with Brian Boucher and have remained his artist of choice now that he has moved south to Carolina.
We’re pleased to be able to bring you the first shots of the artwork on “Boosh’s” new Carolina mask. Fans should like the bold clean lines on the helmet that are more team-focussed than personal. Check out the full gallery of photos below.
The bold look will show well from a distance and be easily recognizable by fans at the game and on TV. While many modern goaltender’s masks have been done with incredible detail – and Drummond has gone in that direction with others in the past – clearly Boosh is a fan of simple and clean. Consider his design from last season, also by Drummond.

Simple but it looks good. Honestly there’s not a whole lot one can design with the Hurricane logo’s.
Love the simplicity of it and the big bold graphics
A winning design-love the simplicity!
I like it. Not as busy as Wardos.
I like it … it looks really sharp. It’s a mix of old school being so simple and new by having the black/white/gray art on top. Nice!
Have to agree with the trend, simplicity works.
Love it. Simple yet awesome. Can’t wait to see it in person!
nice black cage
Nice … a mask with white design will always be a winner! … but I dont like how the flag in the center was placed … should have been more fluid with the 2 logos on the sides…
Great mask but his Flyers one last year was just phenomenal.
Simple and elegant-
That’s exactly why I miss Boosh 🙁 You’ll always be my first love BB you know your #1 fans are here in Philly <3 always
