Dwayne Roloson’s New York Islanders Mask

Dwayne Roloson’s New York Islanders Mask

Dwayne Roloson always has some of the most striking graphics on his Promasque lid and for some time now they have been designed and painted by Jesse Acciacca, of Jesse’s Custom Design. We’ve yet to bring you Roli’s lid, and with the news today that he has been traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning this looks like the last chance to do that! I’m sure Jesse has his sketch book out already and is working on a fantastic new design for his Lightning mask.

For more of Jesse’s great work visit his web site or better yet, stay in touch with Jesse on his Facebook Page –  “like” his page by hitting the button below:

This year’s design Islanders mask featured tributes to Islander greats Billy Smith and Chico Resch.

Like most artists, Jesse paints a variety of media from goalie masks to motor cycles. He also takes his art to the stage by creating unique designs for Vince Neil of MÖTLEY CRÜE.

David is one of the founders of InGoal Magazine which he began in 2009. Of course he finds time for some goaltending of his own as well, and despite his age, clings desperately to the idea that some NHL team will call him to play for them - though in his mid-forties (OK, late 40s) it'll likely be for a practice when everyone else on their depth chart has the flu and the shooter tutor has gone in for repairs.
