New Elliott Mask Features Casey Jones Taming Moose
As the NHL season draws nearer, the new mask designs keep pouring in.
St. Louis Blues’ netminder Brian Elliott will be sporting this new paint job by Dave Gunnarsson this upcoming season. It stays true to his usual theme of including a moose, and incorporates the mask of Casey Jones from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The difference this time? This new mask includes some of the new glow-in-the-dark features that have become a staple of recent DaveArt designs.
Here’s what Gunnarsson had to say about the mask on his Facebook page:
The Moose Pitbulls are so furious so they are drooling, and their antlers and eyes glows in the dark of rage?, just as the skyline of St Louis and the mask of Casey Jones…! Watch out bad guys… Just as usual the mask is loaded with details all over the mask to tell the story of Brian Elliott, and the closer you come the more details you will discover, and the mask enters a new dimension
Elliott’s previous masks featured similar designs, but this is the scariest one yet. If you’re wondering why he likes to include a moose on every mask, the answer is simple – he’s an expert at moose calling. He has a moose painted on every mask as a tribute to the late Owen Scott, a champion moose-caller who taught him the skill.
