  • The Texas Stars got their first shutout from goalie Matt Climie, who stopped 25 shots from the Grand Rapids Griffins. The game almost went 0-0 to the end, as rookie Thomas McCollum held off the Stars until they knocked in two goals in the in the final two minutes of play. (Austin American-Statesman)
