- Binghamton Senators goalie Jeff Glass turned heads Wednesday night turning away 47 of 49 shots, only to lose in the shootout against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. (Penguins Insider and Sharp on the Sens)

Honors
- The AHL announced the league’s All Rookie team today and Bridgeport Sound Tigers Nathan Lawson took the goalie honors. (SoundTigers.com)
- Manchester Monarchs goalie Jonathan Bernier took home the Reebok X-Pulse/AHL Goaltender of the Month for March. Bernier has a 1.97 GAA, a .927 save percentage, and two shutouts for the month. (Manchester Monarchs)
Transactions
- The Minnesota Wild organization appears to continue to struggle with goaltender injuries. Seems Houston has brought up Rejean Beauchamin from the ECHL Idaho Steelheads, while Anton Khudobin has again been called up to the Wild. Nothing has been announced officially, but I pieced it together over at The Third Intermission.
- Let’sGoAmerks.com’s April Fool’s prank below wasn’t such a stretch after all, as they actually DID have to call up a goalie from the CHL. They’ve summoned Miguel Beaudry from the Rapid City Rush. (LetsGoAmerks.com)
