BHL Life Hits an NHL Gym: No Pain, No Kane

BHL LIfe LogoFresh off his near miss with the Nashville Predators, Kane Van Gate is back at his quest to make the rare – but in his mind, short – jump from the BHL to the NHL.

This week the back-to-back BHL champion looks to take it to another level off the ice with a workout at Power Play Sports, a gym with a history of training actual … err, fellow NHL players.

How will our hero, Gatesy, stack up?

We’re betting without a lot of plates stacked up on his lifts, but we’re also pretty confident hilarity will ensue, so let’s take a look at the latest BHL Life video:

Spawned by the success of the BHL 36: Kane Van Gate documentary, the BHL Life is an ongoing and often hilarious glimpse into the life of the delusiona … err … legendary beer leagu … err … aspiring professional goaltender, and his teammates in the BHL – “the most competitive senior men’s league in the world.”

You can find all of the episodes at the Hockey Shorties Youtube page, including cameos from real … err … fellow professional goaltenders like Mike McKenna.
