InGoal Answers Ice Bucket Challenge; You’re Next

As you will see in the video below, the staff at InGoal Magazine accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge from Steve and Steph over at EyeCandyAir, and made a donation to the ALS Society, which raises funds and awareness in the fight against Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a neurodegenerative disease sometimes referred to as in North America as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

InGoal Magazine invites Chris Joswiak of Brian’s Custom Sports, Eli Wilson of Eli Wilson Goaltending, and you, all of our readers to join us in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and in making a gift to the ALS Society.

I think the message has been delivered: Raise awareness for ALS. That itself is a great thing. Humans should help each other when there is an opportunity. As far as dumping fresh/not so fresh water and/or ice on your head to get a laugh, show off your body, look silly, waste good water, waste ice made from fresh water, waste time and energy that could be used to do something more effective, not thinking about the actual research ALSA does (e.g. experimenting on innocent animals treated as lab specimens), not being sensitive to the people all over the world who actually could use that fresh water today, not being conscious about what your actions do – is irresponsible and not cool, literally.
Just donate dude, we don’t need the drama.
