David is one of the founders of InGoal Magazine which he began in 2009. Of course he finds time for some goaltending of his own as well, and despite his age, clings desperately to the idea that some NHL team will call him to play for them - though in his mid-forties (OK, late 40s) it'll likely be for a practice when everyone else on their depth chart has the flu and the shooter tutor has gone in for repairs.

I’m the goalie coach with the University of Pennsylvania’s women’s team. Our goalies are looking for an arm & body with senior/ pro level protection but intermediate sizing. Most have been under five foot five and senior small is a bit big. Do you know of a manufacturer who is making gear like this? Almost akin to the senior size glove with a junior palm. Thanks!

We’ve had a 145 lb 13 yr old in Bauer 2X Pro in 15+ Junior A (BCHL) practices with no issues…he’s a fair bit more than 5’5″ but it’s a large – thinking small or medium might do it…but we will put some feelers out there.
