InGoal Radio Podcast Episode 30: Ray Petkau and Adam Francilia and the NET360 Goalie Camp

In this Episode of the InGoal Radio Podcast presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports. We sat down with Ray Petkau and Adam Francilia who created the NET 360 Goalie Camp. A player agent and an off-ice conditioning expert come together to create an innovative, collaborative environment that sees top coaches, goaltenders and shooters from the NHL gather in Kelowna each summer for a week of pre-season preparation.

The two founders bring advice for goaltenders on the roe of a player agent and when and how to select one, as well as how to prepare physically to perform at your best. And for young goaltenders it’s more than just “play lots of other sports” but in an answer typical of Francilia, it’s well thought, deliberate, and fun.

The gear segment looks at Warrior’s line of chest/arm units, some of the most innovative in the game.

David is one of the founders of InGoal Magazine which he began in 2009. Of course he finds time for some goaltending of his own as well, and despite his age, clings desperately to the idea that some NHL team will call him to play for them - though in his mid-forties (OK, late 40s) it'll likely be for a practice when everyone else on their depth chart has the flu and the shooter tutor has gone in for repairs.
