Even though the week was drastically shortened because of the break for the holidays, there was no shortage of highlight-reel saves to choose from! Cam Talbot began the week with a pre-Christmas performance for the ages. His partner Anders Nilsson must have been jealous, because he stole the spotlight after Christmas with an absolutely beautiful glove save.
With Marc-Andre Fleury still out with an injury, Matt Murray and Jeff Zatkoff have been picking up the slack in Pittsburgh. Their goal-scoring woes continues, but both goaltenders have been solid – especially Zatkoff, who tops this week’s list with a great diving paddle save.
